"Bolognese"
I would say this is the first pasta i made since half year ago? Wow
But in this recipe i particularly used the "Shell" pasta because i have
further plan for it ^.^v
Ingredient:
Pasta
Pork Mince
Tomato Puree (Can is fine)
Garlic
Onion
Bacon
Cream
Parmesan Cheese
Step:
Most people have no idea in the proper way of cooking pasta, the idea is to not run it under cold water after cooked.
1. Fry the garlic, onion, and bacon till brown and fragrance.
2. Add the pork mince and season for first taste.
3. Add tomato puree and 1/3 can of water and season again to taste.
4. Cook and reduce till the sauce thicken, you can thicken the sauce by adding more tomato or not adding any water but i would prefer to reduce it then cook it quickly.
5. Re-heat the pasta but dipping it in boiling water for 30sec and remove and add into the bolognese sauce.
6. Drizzle some cream on the pasta and parsley to serve.
Cost:
For a simple recipe like this, we could prepare a meal for two under $10. Be prepare to pay more for good quality pasta, the one i used cost me about $2.50 and the most exp i ever got was $7.50 and it does make a great deal of difference.
