"Healthy" Risotto
Serving: 2
When i was shopping at the market, i notice the meat vendor was selling "Ham of Bone" for a good price.
I asked them about the quality and they said it the same ham as the slice ham only those are chop from the bone section.
Bought a bag and starting nibbling, quite salty actually and have more of a smoke flavor compare to a slice smoke ham and boom. ~New Recipe.
Ingredients:
Few pieces "Ham of Bone" or Ham Chunk
1 Cup Rice
1/2 Onion
Thickened Cream
Cucumber (Tip Ingredient)
Parmesan Cheese (Parmy)
Olive Oil
3 Medium White Mushroom
Steps:
1. Fried diced onion till brown, add bite size "Ham of Bone/Chunk" and sliced mushroom
2. Add a decent amount of water and cream and season to taste.
3. Next, Add the cooked rice and let it simmer till moisture have been absorbed by the rice.
4. Thinly slice/julianne the cucumber (leave out the core).
5. Toss the cucumber with the risotto and garnished with Parmy and Olive Oil before serving.
Tip:
We always use cucumber for salad, sandwich or face mask, while thinking out of the box, cucumber is actually a good medium in cooking if you use it properly and it makes a great substitute to any green veg (method and execution).
