"Wanton" Ravioli ......

"Wanton" Ravioli ......

going into unknown territory.. fusion non the less















Ingredients:

Ravioli

Wanton Skin (ready made, purchasable)
Mince Pork
Mushroom (Chinese)
Dried Scallop/Shrimp (Chinese)

Soup

Egg
Stock (preferably Chicken stock)
Onion
Garlic
Spring Onion
Dried Anchovies (Chinese)
Bean Sprout

STEP:

1. Prepare the ravioli and cooked separately.
2. Cook till it starts to float  (roughly 10min).
3. Fry garlic, onion, spring onion and dried anchovies.
4. Add little knob of butter and bean sprout.
5. Add a cup of water and season to taste
6. Once soup comes to a boil, turn off the flame and add the egg
7. Use a fork and lightly swirl the egg so it creates a silky and smooth thread in the soup.
8. Serve it onto the ravioli and serve with parsley.

Cost:
Not to sure about the Chinese ingredient but it did not cost more then $3 for the other ingredients.
