"Creamy Sauce" Steak with Baked Wedges
Ingredients:
Beef (TopSide)
Potato
Thyme
Garlic
Mustard Seed
Cream
Red Wine
Stock(Beef)
Steps:
Potato Wedges
1. Cut potato into wedges and put in a bowling water to cook for 5-10min just to pre-cook.
2. Take out and place in icy cold water to stop cooking. Season on a tray with salt, pepper, olive oil and parsley.
3. Place in Oven for 30min @ 180 degrees or till brown and crisp.
Steak
1. To marinate, crush one garlic, some thyme and pepper corn and place in a sealed bag with the beef for an hour or more (Overnight is perfect)
2.Heat up a pan, place some oil and cook the beef on both side for 7 min each side before cooking it further in the oven.
Sauce
1. Do not dispose of the left over on the pan after cooking the beef, place the herb and ingredient in the sealed bag except the oil and fry it for couple of minutes.
2. Add seeded mustard and beef stock (Not required if you have red wine).
3. Once the mixture started to simmer, place few table spoon of cream to thicken and serve.
