"Pan Fried" Beef with Corn Mash

 Ingredients:

Beef Fillet
Potato
Corn
Mushroom
Pea
Onion
Garlic
Cream
Thyme
Butter
Red Wine
Stock



Steps:

Firstly, place beef fillet in a air tight container/Glad bag. Place herbs, a clove of crushed garlic, and pepper in the same bag/container and fill with cooking oil. Place in the refrigerator for few hours or a day.

This same method of seasoning can also be used to marinate any meat for grilling/BBQ.

1. Pan fried some garlic and onion till brown, add beef fillet (diced into chunk) and cook till the beef is sealed (all surface cooked)
2. Next, add the sliced mushroom and a knob of butter and stock/red wine and let it simmer for 10min
3. Season and taste the check if the beef is fully cooked.
3. Once the moisture partially reduced, add  pea and cream to thicken the sauce and prepare to serve.

Corn Mash

1. Cooked potatoes till soft and place in a bowl, cook the corn kernels as well and place in the same bowl.
2. Add some butter, parsley and a little drizzle of olive oil.
3. Using a fork, gently crush the potato and corn and start whipping the mash into shape.
4. Mash can be refrigerated and  all it takes is a 2min microwave to heat it up (add a little butter when microwave)

Depending on which part of the cow you got =P.
